Kimberly earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art from Skidmore College and began a successful career designing textiles for the home furnishings industry. With twenty years of experience, including positions of Designer, Director of Design, and Product Development Manager, Kimberly has created designs for wall coverings, upholstery fabrics, tapestries, pillows, throws and art work. Though she initially started in the domestic side of the business, she eventually accepted a position with a fabric manufacturing company to work in their international division. Throughout her tenure in this field, she traveled continuously through six countries, meeting with clients, and attending various trade shows to research trends, purchase art work and address clients’ needs. These experiences have given Kimberly an extensive foundation in home staging, decorating and personal image. Kimberly continues to keep abreast of the trends by attending the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, North Carolina twice a year.

In addition to her design and color expertise, Kimberly has Image Consultant mentoring through Bev Dwane and the Australian Image Company. Kim utilizes her training by blending her knowledge of design and home with personal image. In Home Staging, just as in personal image, she believes that you only get one chance to make a first impression, and that you need to make it count! Having natural instincts for design and color, as well as an understanding as to how buyers envision the image of a potential property, Kimberly is able to work with the seller to create a home that is both beautiful and welcoming to all! Another aspect of her work is in Redesign and Decorating, where Kimberly works closely with the homeowner to create a personal space that they will love coming home to!
